• Kamp en Hout aims to be a leading organization that inspires youth movements to create innovative, eco-friendly camp constructions. By using local resources and promoting sustainability, Kamp en Hout seeks to serve as an example for future generations, focusing on nature conservation and fostering a sense of community.

Mission of Kamp en Hout: 

• Bringing people together: Strengthening the association life by bringing together youth and adults from diverse backgrounds and nationalities at an annual camp event, creating a spontaneous and enriching cultural exchange.

• Nature experience: Promoting environmentally friendly camping and teaching traditional pioneering and ropework techniques.

• Sustainability: Encouraging ecological awareness and sustainable practices within youth movements.

• Promoting skills: Kamp en Hout places strong emphasis on the technical aspects of camping and youth organizations, as well as engaging people of all ages. Pioneering, knotting, camp logistics, fire-making, and navigation are essential skills for us. Passing these skills on to younger generations is crucial. These practical abilities complement our other goals, such as experiencing nature, promoting sustainability, and, most importantly, bringing people together across generations.
